‘Bard of Blood’: DG ISPR Asif Ghafoor Gives SRK a Reality Check on RAW Spies in Pakistan
‘Bard of Blood’ will star Emraan Hashmi as RAW agent Adonis who will embark on a secret mission in Balochistan
The Indian obsession with Pakistan continues as the trailer of Shah Rukh Khan’s Netflix production ‘Bard of Blood’ is released, unveiling that it is yet another spy-thriller based in Pakistan.
Starring Bollywood superstar Emraan Hashmi in the lead, the Netflix original series by SRK will once again portray Pakistan as a terrorist state and its story will be based in the province of Balochistan.
Just a few days after when the famous Netflix original series ‘Sacred Games: Season 2’ was criticized for an anti-Pakistan plot, ‘Bard of Blood’ is yet another proof of India’s never-ending obsession with Pakistan. The trend of showing Pakistan as a terrorist state and Pakistanis as the villains never cease to amaze our neighbors and they seem to really enjoy such stories.

Where entertainment platforms can be used to spread positivity between the two countries, such plots to malign Pakistan’s image make the situation even worse. Considering the current situation between India and Pakistan over the Kashmir Issue, the trailer of ‘Bard of Blood’ is receiving backlash from Pakistanis on Twitter.
DG ISPR Asif Ghafoor called out SRK after watching the trailer of ‘Bard of Blood’.
He gave him a reality check on what happened to RAW spy Kulbushan Jadev and also reminded him about Wing Commander Abhinandan.
He further added that this platform could have been used to promote peace and humanity.
Stay in bollywood syndrome @iamsrk . For reality see RAW Spy Kulbhushan Jadev, Wing Comd Abhinandan & state of 27 Feb 2019.
You could rather promote peace & humanity by speaking against atrocities in IOJ&K and against Hindituva of Nazism obsessed RSS. https://t.co/0FWqoRQsO6

Completely unethical behaviour of Netflix to run Bard of Blood (a Bollywood funded series) to create an unrealistic image of Balochistan. Govt of Pakistan must order PTCL to end all contracts with Netflix ASAP! #BardOfBlood #Netflix #PTCL

#BardOfBlood is a serious no joke series on a huge global platform like Netflix.
The promotional video featuring SRK & Emmi was just plain bullshit! Promotional strategists at RCE made SRK look like a joker tbh! Shame on these idiots.

In his attempt to keep the audience enticed, SRK is also posting promotional videos before the release of this web series. The video shows SRK and Emraan Hashmi in an interrogation room and seems like a failed attempt at comedy!
The seven-episode series will be available on Netflix from 27th September 2019.
