Game Of Thrones wins Big At Emmy’s!
Game Of Thrones is finally over but still, the shock of the last season is not. The show has now done the unthinkable by bagging the seventh Emmy Award for Visual Effects.
It only depicts its position as the show having the most wins in the VFX category. The award was presented during the Creative Arts Emmy’s at the Microsoft Theater in L.A.
The HBO series has snatched the first position from Star Trek series, which has three VFX Emmys in its kitty.
Game of Thrones won in the VFX category for consecutive years. Multiple artists have shared the responsibilities of VFX during the series’ run. This year VFX award went to the episode “The Bells” depicting the final battle in the Kings Landing.
The award was received by VFX supervisor Joe Bauer, VFX producer Steve Kullback and VFX associate producer Adam Chazen. These people have been part of the series from the first season. The 2019 Creative Arts Emmy Awards will go on air on September 21.
