Nazish Jahangir Continues To Impress In Kahi Deep Jale!
Nazish Jahangir has taken the spotlight in the last episode!
If you saw Geo TV’s hit drama Kahi Deep Jale last Thursday, you would know about whom we are talking about. Nazish Jahangir who was previously seen in dramas like Thays, Bharosa, Kamzarf, etc. can be currently seen playing the anti-heroine in Kahi Deep Jale.
Despite sharing scenes with Imran Ashraf and Neelam Muneer, Nazish Jahangir has impressed all with her brilliant acting. Nazish Jahangir plays the parallel female lead known as Shamila in the play who can go to any length to ruin the life of married couple Rida (Neelam Muneer) and Zeeshan (Imran Ashraf).
Initially, she was a bit jittery at the start of the play but eventually, she came around and took up this challenging role which, without a doubt, is being loved and appreciated by the audience.
In a recent interview, the young actress said,
“I did a lot of homework for this role because Shamila and I are two completely different people. I also wanted that people sympathize with Shamila by the end of the drama and not just hate her”.
Expressing more about her role as Shamila in Kahi Deep Jalay, Nazish added. ‘I’ve been quite overwhelmed by the feedback from the audience. People are appreciating it a lot and whenever I’m out, very few go by without taking a selfie.”
After completing her degree in fine arts and fashion design, Nazish settled in Karachi and did theatre, including an Anwar Maqsood play way back in 2015. Since then she has received several offers to act in films as well as TV.
“I’m a firm believer in ‘hard work pays off'”, Nazish Jahangir said, “you will always accomplish whatever you want if you work hard enough and with complete passion. Staying put and putting all your efforts is the key to success.”
Later on, in 2017, she made her first television debut and now she’s the talk of the town. Her back to back hit dramas has the critics and audience both in awe. She takes up the challenges and with the purpose of giving her 100 percent.
” I’m open to all kinds of roles; positive or negative. Being an actress I’ve learned to be versatile because that’s the art of acting.”
Besides Kahi Deep Jale, she is in talks for more dramas including one for Hum TV alongside Sami Khan and Sonya Hussyn.
Daasi director Mohsin Talat is calling the shots and Nazish aims to make her fans proud of her performance.
She will be making her big-screen debut through horror-comedy Lafangay alongside Sami Khan, Mani, Saleem Meraj and Mubeen Gabol later this year.
