Zac Efron Speaks Out About His Recent Health Scare!
Hollywood Hunk Zac Efron became ill while filming Documentary “Killing Zac Efron”!
Zac Efron’s fans got a scare earlier this week when it was disclosed that the actor became very ill and had to be airlifted from Papua New Guinea to a hospital in Australia.
However, the Baywatch actor shared the status of his health, calming his fans. Zac Efron confirmed that he spent several days in an Australian hospital but returned to the States on Christmas Eve. He tweeted:

I did get sick in Papua New Guinea but I bounced back quick and finished an amazing 3 weeks in P.N.G.

In one of his interview with a media outlet, he revealed:
“I tend to thrive under extreme circumstances and seek out opportunities that challenge me on every level. I am excited to explore any uncharted territory and discover what unexpected adventure awaits.”
He was in the country filming his upcoming documentary that is more or less alike Man V Wild named “Killing Zac Efron.”
In the documentary, Zac ventured into the deep jungle of the remote island for 21 days with nothing just basic gear, a guide and his will to survive the dangers of the jungle.
According to the report, he contracted some form of typhoid from contaminated water and food in Papua New Guinea. The symptoms included high fever, weakness, stomach pains, headache to name a few. The illness could have been fatal had not been treated on time and required at least eight to ten days to recover.
